I'm very excited to reach this milestone. A decade of being a PI leading a science research group. At the very beginning in July 2010 it wasn't a group, just myself sharing a temporary office with Yusuke Toyama at level 5 of T-lab, while the 9th floor of MBI was still being built. Two months later I made my first hires, then a few more people joined, and by the beginning of 2011 we were already a group!

The RZB group takes my name, but this isn't all about me, not at all! The RZB lab has its own history, culture, achievements and goals that are an emergent property, so to speak, of the interactions between all of the wonderful lab members over the last ten years and today.

Therefore, I'd thought to invite all past and present members of the lab to a virtual reunion right here on the lab website in a forum that is only open to lab members and alumni. I'm really looking forward to reconnect with everyone this way and I hope you will find it fun as well.
What I envision is that whoever comes to the reunion will share with everyone else where they are right now (a picture would be great too) and maybe share some photos from their time in the lab and/or some memories and whatever else comes to their mind when they think about the RZB lab or when they look at other people's posts. Feel free to comment and come back again to see what changed. You can also use the members page to privately connect with anyone else.
Looking forward to seeing y'all.
